We organize open peer support meetings in Helsinki, Turku, Kuopio, and Salo, where patients with colorectal cancer can come and discuss and exchange experiences with others who have or have had the same disease. Loved ones of sufferers are also welcome to the groups of Helsinki, Turku and Salo.
Peer-to-peer meetings openly discuss colorectal cancer, but do not comment on treatments, medicines or medical staff. Meetings are always hosted by a trained volunteer or a Cancer Society worker. We expect all participants to be sensitive.
Meetings include coffee, tea and snacks. Registration is desirable, but not necessary, for catering purposes. Registrations to the Colores office unless otherwise noted. Contact details can be found here.
